Description
The Shakespeare V-Tronix Hawk is a masthead VHF whip antenna that integrates the well-known Hawk wind indicator, saving a separate fitting at the top of the mast. The lightweight 0.9m stainless steel whip has become an industry benchmark for sailing yachts fitted with a VHF radio.
It uses the V-Tronix solderless connector system for straightforward installation and end-of-season removal, and mounts on a 180mm bracket at the masthead. The antenna is supplied with 25m of RG-58 coaxial cable terminated in a PL-259 plug, and comes blister-packed with fitting instructions in 17 languages.
