Description
The GC80/GC85 Expanded Control Unit MK2 is a genuine Simrad gyrocompass control unit for the professional GC80 and GC85 systems. The expanded control unit adds extra heading output interfaces beyond the compact unit, providing a wide range of stepper and NMEA 0183 heading signals for direct connection to heading repeaters, ECDIS, radar, autopilot and other navigation equipment. It suits new installations and retrofits where additional interfacing is required, and forms part of an IMO type-approved gyro system built with a GC80 or GC85 sensitive element.
