Description
The Iris IRIS-S476 is the IP version of Iris' Sx76 series, the first marine camera of its kind designed to be installed into a bulkhead or vertical surface. Its waterproof case is machined from marine grade 316L stainless steel so it will not corrode in harsh salt water, making it an excellent backup or docking camera. Mounted in the topsides it even assists when coming alongside jetties and pontoons.
During installation the inner ball can be aimed and then locked in place simply by tightening the outer bezel. The IP model delivers up to 3MP high definition resolution with dual H.264 streaming, PoE or 12VDC power and ONVIF compliance, and outputs to a wide range of marine and PC systems. Six built-in 850nm infra red LEDs provide short range night vision to around 10 metres.
Certified to EN60945, EN55032, EN55035 and EN60529 (IP66), the camera is directly compatible with Raymarine on LH2 and above, plus Simrad, Lowrance and B&G; Garmin systems are supported using Iris CMAC products. Its rugged case and small footprint also suit recreational vehicles, fire and rescue trucks and other demanding applications.
