Description
The IRIS490 is the network IP model in Iris's x90 range of rugged pipe-style cameras, machined from 316 marine grade stainless steel with a high polish finish for the ultimate protection in the harsh marine environment. It delivers high definition 5MP video and is directly compatible with Raymarine chart plotters running Lighthouse 2 software and above, Navico displays (Simrad, Lowrance and B&G) and Furuno TZT plotters, as well as PC based systems.
Equipped with high power 850nm infra-red LEDs, the IRIS490 provides high definition coverage even at night to a range of 20m. The 2.8mm wide-angle lens gives a broad 120 degree field of view, and the camera's waterproof multi-pole circular connector accepts an optional 20m extension cable to improve environmental protection in demanding installations. A fully submersible version is also available.
Rated to IP66 and drawing very little power over its IEEE802.3af Power over Ethernet connection, the IRIS490 is favoured by luxury boat owners and commercial operators alike for deck, engine room and companionway monitoring as well as docking and backup duties.
