Description
The Oceanic Systems 5303 Bilge Detector Switch turns a bilge pump on automatically when water is present in the bilge, and is rated for a 20 Amp switching capacity for larger pumps. Operation is managed by a microcontroller in a resin coated watertight casing, making it easy to install and durable in the harsh bilge environment.
An advanced digital filter distinguishes the real presence of water from splashing and spray, and a switch-on and switch-off delay prevents false cycling of the pump caused by the roll of the boat. With its higher current rating and extended power supply range, the 5303 is a reliable, self contained bilge pump control for vessels with more demanding pumps.

What is the difference between the 5303 and 5302?
Both are microcontroller bilge pump controllers, but the 5303 is rated for a 20 Amp switching capacity for larger pumps, while the 5302 is rated at 10 Amp.
Will it cycle on and off with boat movement?
No. A switch-on and switch-off delay prevents false cycling of the pump caused by the roll of the boat.
Is it suitable for the bilge environment?
Yes. It is built into a resin coated watertight casing and has an extended power supply range for reliable operation.
