Description
This cable connects a Raymarine or FLIR M-series thermal camera to a standard RJ45 Ethernet port, adapting the vessel RayNet marine network to conventional network equipment such as a switch, multifunction display or video encoder. One end terminates in a RayNet connector and the other in an RJ45 plug, so no separate adaptor is needed.
The right-angle (RA) RayNet connector keeps the cable low against the bulkhead or camera base where clearance is tight. Measuring 100 ft (roughly 30 metres), it is jacketed in low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) material, which produces little smoke and no halogen gas if exposed to fire, making it well suited to enclosed marine and commercial installations.
