Description
Photon is Iris's ultra high-definition, ultra low light night vision camera. It combines a 1/1.2 inch 8.3-megapixel CMOS sensor with advanced video processing and AI analytics to deliver full colour, real-time 4K video in conditions approaching pitch black, down to 0.0003 lux. Even under moonless, starlit skies the processor analyses every pixel and dynamically boosts the output stream, and an integrated soft white LED illuminator adds short-range visibility out to around 100 feet.
Designed to sidestep the cost, export restrictions and low-contrast limitations of thermal cameras, Photon adds striking detail to chart plotters that support 4K, such as Garmin's 9000 series, and can be configured to output lower resolutions for standard displays. It streams over ONVIF with multiple simultaneous streams and meets EN60945 EMC, NDAA and IP67 environmental requirements.
Power over Ethernet to the IEEE802.3af standard keeps installation simple: a single CAT5 cable, four mounting holes and a cable entry are all that is needed.
