Description
The Actisense A2K-TER-M is a male Micro termination resistor for NMEA 2000 networks. Every NMEA 2000 backbone must have exactly two termination resistors fitted, one at each end, to give the bus its correct electrical characteristics and to preserve signal integrity. This is the male version, for use where the end of the backbone presents a female connector.
The terminator houses a 120 ohm resistor and uses gold-plated brass male contacts in a glass-filled carrier and rugged PVC housing, so it is exceptionally robust in harsh marine conditions while remaining quick and secure to fit. It is UL certified to UL1277, rated to IP67 when mated, and is fully NMEA 2000 certified and covered by the standard 5 year Actisense guarantee.
