Description
The Balmar 48-AM-106 is a ten-groove J10 AltMount serpentine pulley for Balmar AT-Series alternators, with a 2.4 inch diameter and a 17mm bore. It forms part of Balmar's patented AltMount serpentine conversion system, which replaces vee-belt drives with a high-contact serpentine belt for better power transfer.
Because a serpentine belt grips across ten grooves, it can support much higher alternator power loads than a single vee, while reducing vibration, belt dust and drive noise. This pulley is the alternator-side component for AT-Series installations, so pair it with the matching AltMount engine kit for your motor.
