NAC-2 Autopilot Core Pack: Comprising of the low-current NAC-2 autopilot computer, Precision-9 compass and RF-25 rudder feedback unit. Ideal for smaller vessels, designed to run small hydraulic drives and mechanical drives for vessels up to 10 meters 33 feet in length. Also provides solenoid output. Output of 8 amps continuous, 16 amps peak. Clutch output (3 amps maximum). Virtual rudder feedback for simplified installation aboard outboard and sterndrive (inboard/outboard) boats. Supports Simrad RF25 rudder feedback units. NMEA 2000® connectivity to heading sensors, rudder feedbacks, dedicated autopilot controllers, and multifunction displays

What size of boat is this pack for?

Do I still need to buy a drive unit?
Yes. The core pack provides the computer, compass and rudder feedback. A compatible drive unit (such as a mechanical drive, hydraulic linear drive or reversible pump) is required to suit your steering system.
What is the difference between this pack and the VRF pack?
This pack includes an RF25 physical rudder feedback unit, recommended for inboard and larger vessels. The VRF pack omits the rudder feedback and uses Virtual Rudder Feedback, suited to outboard and sterndrive boats.
