Description

The WS720 Wind Pack offers superb aerodynamics and accuracy. A 1.1m high modulus carbon spar elevates the wind sensor into clear air, above any sail-plan disturbance at the masthead. Pack includes 35m mast cable and junction box to aid mast-base connection.

The WS700 series is the ultimate wind sensor for performance sailing, providing the most accurate wind angle and speed data. The new one-piece vane design gives superb aerodynamics and stability, as a result of over 200,000 hours of combined design and wind tunnel testing.

What is included in the WS720 wind pack?
The pack includes the WS720 1.1m vertical wind sensor, a WS300 35m (115 ft) mast cable, a 7 terminal junction box to aid mast-base connection, and a documentation pack.
Does the WS720 pack include a NMEA 2000 interface?
No. The sensor outputs NMEA 0183 directly. To connect to a NMEA 2000 network you add the optional WS310 interface.
Which systems is the WS720 compatible with?
It works with Triton, Triton2, H5000 and WTP3 (some via the WS310 interface) and any NMEA 0183 system. It is not compatible with H3000.
When should I choose the 1.1m WS720 over the 0.8m WS710?
The longer 1.1m spar lifts the vane further into clean air, which can improve accuracy on larger or more powerful rigs where masthead turbulence is greater.
