Description
This is the Balmar SG200 SmartShunt, the 350 amp current sensing module at the heart of the SG200 battery monitoring system. Add one to your existing SmartLink network to monitor an additional battery or battery bank: the shunt measures every amp flowing in and out and reports state of charge, current, voltage and time remaining back to your SG200 display over the SmartLink network. It fits 12, 24, 36 and 48 volt systems and carries an IP67 rating for reliable operation in the engine room or battery compartment.
The SmartShunt is supplied with a SmartLink communication cable so it can be daisy chained straight into an existing SG200 installation. It handles 350 amps continuously and up to 600 amps for ten minutes, making it suitable for house banks in most cruising and liveaboard installations.
