Description
The Balmar MC-TS-B is a battery temperature sensor with a 20 foot (6 metre) lead, used with Balmar MC series external voltage regulators such as the Max Charge and ARS-5. It reports battery temperature to the regulator so charging voltages are adjusted for warm or cold conditions, keeping charging accurate and safe. If battery temperature rises beyond safe limits the regulator can reduce or discontinue charging and signal a warning, helping to protect the bank. The longer 30 foot version is available where the batteries are further from the regulator.
