Description
The Balmar MC-TS-B30 is a battery temperature sensor with a 30 foot (9 metre) lead, used with Balmar MC series external voltage regulators such as the Max Charge and ARS-5. It is the longer version of the standard 20 foot battery sensor, for installations where the battery bank sits further from the regulator. It reports battery temperature to the regulator so charging voltages are adjusted for warm or cold conditions, and lets the regulator reduce or discontinue charging and raise a warning if the bank gets too hot.
