Description
The Oceanic Systems 5312 Fixed Temperature Heat Detector is a compact conventional heat detector for use where a smoke detector is unsuitable, such as galleys, engine spaces and other areas prone to fumes or dust. It responds to a rise to a fixed temperature threshold, giving a reliable fire warning without the false alarms that smoke sensing can suffer in these locations.
Classified A2/S, the detector operates from a 9 to 30 volt DC supply with very low standby current and includes an onboard relay to signal an alarm panel. A heat source test facility allows the unit to be checked in place, making it a practical part of an Oceanic Systems fire detection system.
