Description
The Oceanic Systems 4671 Side Mount Hydrostatic Sensor measures fuel or fresh water level in a tank up to 4 metres deep and provides a 4-20mA output. It mounts through the side of the tank rather than being submerged, working on the piezoresistive principle with an isolated, silicone oil filled construction suited to a wide range of media on deeper tanks.
The sensor has a stainless steel 316L diaphragm, a G1/2 inch pressure connection and a direct cable output, with a -10 to 70 degrees C compensated temperature range and zero and span adjustment. Combined with an Oceanic Systems 4291 tank level adaptor it reports tank level onto the NMEA 2000 network for display on compatible instruments.
