Description
The Furuno DRS2D-NXT is a 19 inch solid-state Doppler radome that packs advanced radar processing into Furuno's most compact NXT dome. Solid-state transmission means dependable performance with low power consumption and no magnetron to warm up or replace.
Doppler-based Target Analyzer automatically colours echoes by their motion, turning approaching targets red and leaving stationary or receding targets green so potential hazards are obvious at a glance. Fast Target Tracking delivers vectors within seconds of selecting a target, and the Auto Target Acquire function automatically picks up approaching contacts within three nautical miles.
Combined with Furuno's RezBoost beam-sharpening technology, the DRS2D-NXT offers the detection and resolution of a larger radar from a neat 19 inch dome, making it well suited to smaller craft and vessels where mounting space is limited.
