Description
The Furuno DRS4D-NXT is a 24 inch solid-state Doppler radome that redefines what a compact dome radar can do. Using pulse-compression solid-state transmission, it delivers strong target detection with very low power consumption and none of the warm-up or magnetron replacement associated with traditional radar.
Its standout feature is Target Analyzer, which uses Doppler processing to automatically colour echoes by their movement: targets closing on your vessel turn red while stationary or receding targets stay green, so hazards stand out at a glance. Fast Target Tracking gives near-instant vectors on selected targets, and the Auto Target Acquire function automatically flags approaching contacts within three nautical miles.
Furuno's exclusive RezBoost beam sharpening tightens the beam for crisp, high-resolution images, while Bird Mode helps locate feeding birds over fish. The result is the situational awareness of a much larger radar in a neat 24 inch dome.
