Description
The Furuno SCX-20 is a compact satellite compass that delivers highly accurate heading, pitch, roll and heave data to the vessel's navigation, radar and sonar systems. Its lightweight antenna houses four separate GNSS receivers, and heading is calculated from any of six baselines drawn between them for dependable accuracy even when the boat is stationary or pitching heavily.
Multi-GNSS reception across GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and SBAS keeps a solid fix in demanding conditions, while precise motion data stabilises fish finder and sonar presentations and keeps radar target trails smooth and true. Full NMEA 2000 certification means a single-cable, plug and play connection into an existing network.
With no moving parts and an IPx6 water-resistant antenna, the SCX-20 is a maintenance-free heading source suited to a wide range of recreational and commercial installations.
