Description
The Fusion Reactor FR42 is a 4 inch two-way full-range coaxial speaker from Fusion's Reactor series, offering an affordable, styled upgrade over factory-fitted speakers. A polypropylene cone on a steel-frame basket with a rubber surround is paired with a PEI dome tweeter for clear, well-controlled full-range sound, all finished in a sleek midnight black cone.
Its shallow-mount basket is the standout feature: with a mounting depth of just 47 mm (1-7/8"), the FR42 slips into tight, behind-panel locations where deeper speakers will not fit. That makes it a practical choice for door cards, dash pods and other confined mounting spots on smaller craft, campers and vehicles. Note that this is a Reactor-series full-range speaker rather than a True Marine model, so it is best suited to sheltered, dry mounting positions.
