Description
This electronic control unit (ECU) is the power and drive electronics for the Garmin GHP 12 marine autopilot. It connects to and powers the course computer unit and the drive unit, converting the autopilot heading commands into movement of the drive to steer the boat.
Fully gasketed and sealed against water ingress, the ECU must be mounted close to the drive unit because the connecting cables cannot be extended. It is intended as a service or replacement part for an existing GHP 12 installation and should be fitted by a qualified marine engineer.
