Description
The Garmin GA 25MCX is a low-profile remote GPS antenna that improves satellite reception for compatible Garmin devices fitted with an MCX antenna connector. It is the answer where a built-in antenna struggles for signal, such as inside an enclosed helm or under obstructions, allowing the antenna to be positioned where it has a clearer view of the sky.
A built-in magnetic mount lets it be fixed quickly to a suitable external surface, and around 3 metres of cable gives flexibility in placement. The compact housing is waterproof, making it suitable for exposed positions on the vessel.
