Description
The Garmin GCV 20 brings Garmin Ultra High-Definition ClearVu and Ultra High-Definition SideVu scanning sonar to your networked Garmin system. Operating across CHIRP frequencies of 260, 455, 820 and 1120 kHz, it produces near photographic images of submerged structure, fish-holding cover and the contour of the bottom, helping you read the water beneath and to each side of the boat with confidence. With 500 W RMS of transmit power it maintains clear returns out to useful working ranges. The GCV 20 connects over the Garmin Marine Network and includes three network ports, so scanning sonar can be shared across compatible chartplotters and the system expanded as needed. Its fully gasketed polycarbonate housing is rated to IPX7 for dependable service afloat. This is the module-only supply, intended for boats fitting a compatible Garmin Ultra HD scanning transducer separately.
