The Garmin GDT 43 is a thru-hull analogue transducer that reports water depth and temperature. Operating at 200 kHz with a depth capability of 275 m, it is designed to retrofit an existing Nexus or Silva 43 mm thru-hull (TH43). It connects to a Nexus system or, using a NMEA 2000 adapter, to a NMEA 2000 network. This version is supplied without the NMEA 2000 adapter.

Description

The Garmin GDT 43 is a thru-hull analogue depth and temperature transducer well suited to sailing and motor vessels. Operating at 200 kHz, it reads water depth to a capability of 275 m (900 ft) along with water temperature, feeding accurate readings to your instruments. It is designed as a straightforward retrofit for an existing Nexus or Silva 43 mm thru-hull transducer (TH43), making it a natural upgrade path for boats already fitted with that mounting. The GDT 43 connects to a Nexus system by cutting and wiring its cable to the dedicated depth port, or to a modern NMEA 2000 network using a NMEA 2000 adapter. It fits metal and fibreglass hulls from 6 to 42 mm thick through a 43 mm hole and is supplied with a 6 m (19.7 ft) cable. This version is supplied without the NMEA 2000 adapter.
