Description
The GPSMAP 8424 is the flagship large-format glass-helm display, built around a 24-inch sunlight-readable WUXGA IPS touchscreen. In-plane switching delivers consistent, accurate colours from wide viewing angles, while an auto-dimming function keeps the display comfortable in low light or at night. The maximum-glass design lets you install multiple displays with the industry low flush-mount profile, or flat mount them edge-to-edge for a sleek glass-helm look.
One-touch access brings the information you need to your fingertips, and standard USB touch output lets the 8424 double as a touchscreen monitor for Windows and Mac. Wi-Fi, ANT, Bluetooth and NMEA 2000 connect the display into the Garmin Marine Network, sharing radar, sonar, cameras and instruments across helms, while OneHelm compatibility extends touchscreen control to supported third-party systems. The rugged housing carries an IPX7 water rating.
