Description
The Garmin GT20-TM pairs traditional 77/200 kHz sonar with Garmin ClearVu scanning sonar in a single transom-mount transducer, tuned to deliver clear, picture-like images of what lies beneath the boat. ClearVu at 455 and 800 kHz renders structure and bottom detail crisply, while the traditional channel provides reliable depth and fish marking.
Optimised for clearer images at shallow depths, the GT20-TM runs 500 W on both traditional and ClearVu, reading to 579 m (1,900 ft.) on traditional sonar and 229 m (750 ft.) on ClearVu. A fast-response temperature sensor is built in, and the 4-pin connector matches Garmin chartplotters with a 4-pin sonar port such as the ECHOMAP UHD2 cv series, for which it is the bundled transducer.
