Description

The Garmin GT8HW-TM is an 8-pin transom or trolling motor transducer with High Wide band CHIRP traditional sonar (150-240 kHz). The wider beam, up to a 24 degree angle, covers a larger area in the water and is ideal for shallow-water anglers wanting clear bottom definition and crisp, wide fish arches with good target separation.

A built-in fast-response temperature sensor is included, and the 20 ft cable with a 0 to 70 degree transom angle range makes fitting straightforward on the transom or a trolling motor. Installation instructions are supplied.

The GT8HW-TM connects to compatible Garmin STRIKER, ECHOMAP CHIRP and GPSMAP combos; an adapter cable may be needed for 4-pin or 12-pin sounder ports.
