Description
This replacement NiMH battery restores the internal power cell of the Garmin gWind Wireless masthead transducer. The transducer is kept topped up by a small solar panel on its arm, but the rechargeable cell itself has a working life of roughly three to four years before it should be swapped out.
Fit it when an older gWind Wireless starts dropping its connection or no longer holds charge between sailing trips, and you will return the unit to reliable, cable-free wind reporting.
