Description
This heavy-duty power cable supplies the open-array pedestal of Garmin xHD2 series radars. Its 12 AWG conductors are sized to deliver the substantial current a high-output open-array radar requires while keeping voltage drop in check across a long 15 metre run between the power source and a mast or arch-mounted pedestal.
The cable suits the 4 kW, 6 kW and 12 kW xHD2 series radars. When used with the 12 kW model, a separate voltage converter is required to meet that radar's power needs. Its generous length gives installers flexibility to route the cable cleanly from the helm or distribution panel up to the radar pedestal.
