Description
The Garmin GSD 28 is a high-powered black-box CHIRP sonar module built for serious sport fishing at extreme depths. Running dual-channel CHIRP with up to 3 kW of transmit power per channel, it drives a wide range of Garmin and Airmar transducers and can reach depths of up to 3048 m, depending on the transducer fitted.
CHIRP processing across a 25 to 250 kHz range delivers strong target separation and clarity from the surface to the bottom. The module connects to compatible Garmin chartplotters over the Garmin Marine Network and is rated IPX7. The transducer is sold separately.
