Description
The Icom HS-95 is a headset with an adjustable boom microphone that gives true hands-free operation on compatible Icom handheld transceivers. The boom-mic angle can be set for ideal positioning in front of the mouth, helping deliver maximum voice readability even in busy or noisy surroundings. With the earpiece and microphone worn together, the operator can listen and speak without holding the radio, keeping both hands free for the task at hand. To transmit, the HS-95 is used with a separate Icom VOX/PTT switch unit (VS-1/L or VS-1SC) or a PTT switch cable (VS-4LA, VS-4MC or VS-5MC). It is well suited to leisure, outdoor and light commercial users who need reliable hands-free communication.
