Description

The Maretron IPG100 Internet Protocol Gateway bridges an NMEA 2000 network to Internet Protocol devices, letting you monitor and control your vessel with Maretron N2KView V3 software or the N2KView Mobile App on a PC, Mac, tablet or smartphone. It presents an opto-isolated NMEA 2000 connector and a 100 Mb/s Ethernet data port, so it drops into a conventional network alongside routers, switches and wireless modems.

Once enabled, the IPG100 automatically connects to Maretron's Real Time Cloud Service (subscription required), allowing you to reach your vessel securely over the internet and keep an eye on its systems from anywhere in the world. A waterproof USB Type A port accepts the N2KView hardware licence key.

Housed in a rugged, flanged enclosure rated to IP67, the IPG100 is the gateway that turns everyday computers and mobile devices into full N2KView monitoring stations for engines, tanks, batteries and more.

What is the difference between the IPG100 and a USB100?
The USB100 connects a single computer to NMEA 2000 over USB, whereas the IPG100 uses Ethernet so multiple wired and wireless devices can run N2KView at once, and it enables remote access through Maretron's cloud service.
Do I need a subscription for remote access?
Local N2KView monitoring works without a subscription. Remote connection over the internet uses Maretron's Real Time Cloud Service, which requires an active subscription and an internet connection aboard.
What is the USB port on the IPG100 for?
The waterproof USB Type A port is used only to hold the N2KView hardware licence key. It is not a general-purpose data port.
