Description
The Kicker KMTC9 is a 9-inch horn-loaded compression driver (HLCD) tower system built to project clean, powerful sound the length of a tow rope without the harsh glare of a cheap horn. A 9-inch stitched polypropylene cone handles the low and midrange while a 1.4-inch titanium-dome compression driver takes the highs, giving you serious output and clarity that carries over wind and water. Each speaker clamps to tube diameters from 1.5 to 3.25 inches and rotates a full 354 degrees without tools, and the system is sold as a pair. It offers most of the reach of the flagship 11-inch KMTC11 in a more compact pod.
Every part is made for the marine environment. The UV-resistant polymer basket, Santoprene surround and 316L stainless-steel mounting hardware are matched to a through-clamp wiring system with a mating socket and a single-bolt speaker removal system for easy service. Seven-colour LED grilles are included and can be expanded to 20 colours and 19 modes with the KMLC remote, the rear logo adjusts through 180 degrees, and the system meets or exceeds ASTM standards for UV and salt/fog exposure. This is the white version.
