Description
The Locking actuator is the electromechanical component that secures a Type 2 (IEC 62196-2) plug in a Ratio Type 2 charging outlet. During charging it drives a locking pin that holds the connector in place, preventing accidental or unauthorised removal until the session is complete, then releases it so the cable can be withdrawn.
Supplied as a spare part for Ratio's Type 2 charge-outlet assembly, it lets installers replace the locking mechanism without changing the whole outlet. It works alongside the outlet body and its associated components to keep the charging connection safe and reliable.
