The Lowrance Hook-4x Ice Machine was a 4.3-inch fishfinder packaged for ice fishing, supplied with a Mid/High transducer and ice-fishing accessories. It delivered CHIRP Broadband Sounder imaging in a portable hard-water setup. This model has been discontinued.
Description
The Lowrance Hook-4x Ice Machine packaged the 4.3-inch fishfinder for hard-water use, supplied with a Mid/High transducer and ice-fishing kit so it could be deployed quickly through the ice. CHIRP Broadband Sounder technology gave clear target separation, with fish ID and depth alarms in a rugged, waterproof case.
As a fishfinder-only unit it concentrated on sonar performance rather than navigation. The Hook-4x has since been discontinued and is succeeded within the current Lowrance range by the Hook Reveal series, which offers SplitShot Ice Machine packs.
