The Lowrance Hook-5 was a 5-inch combo chartplotter and fishfinder supplied with a Mid/High DownScan Skimmer transducer. It combined built-in GPS charting with CHIRP Broadband Sounder and DownScan Imaging. This model has been discontinued.
Description
The Lowrance Hook-5 was a combo unit with a 5-inch colour display, built-in GPS antenna and chart support, supplied with a Mid/High DownScan Skimmer transducer. CHIRP Broadband Sounder and photo-like DownScan Imaging let anglers read fish and structure while navigating with microSD charts, all via simple keypad control.
The Hook-5 has since been discontinued and is succeeded within the current Lowrance range by the Hook Reveal-5, which adds Autotuning sonar, a faster processor and improved mapping.
