Description

The Mastervolt Alpha 12/130 III is a high-output 12 volt, 130 amp marine alternator engineered to charge starter and service batteries quickly and completely, while powering every consumer on board. It is supplied as standard with the Alpha Pro III charge regulator, turning the alternator into a fully temperature-controlled three-stage charger for optimal performance and longer-lasting batteries.

Unlike standard alternators that only deliver their rated capacity at high engine speed, the Alpha is purpose-built for powerful charging even at low rpm. Forced cooling from the pulley fan keeps output high in temperatures above 40 degrees, making it ideal for installation close to the engine. Combined with a Battery Mate or battery isolator, it can charge two or three separate battery banks at once.
