Description
The Mac Plus 24/48-15 is a non-isolated DC-DC charger that steps a 24 V supply up to charge a 36 V or 48 V battery bank at up to 15 A (900 W). Its bi-directional technology lets either side act as input or output, so one unit can keep both banks supplied. The proven Mastervolt 3-step+ algorithm charges even completely flat batteries, and engine-run detection prevents the source battery from being drained.
Built around a fanless aluminium housing, it operates silently and resists dust and water ingress, supporting flooded, Gel, AGM and Lithium Ion (incl. LiFePO4) batteries. Adjustable current limits suit Euro 5/6 smart alternators, and up to four units can be paralleled for greater capacity.
MasterBus, CZone and NMEA 2000 compatibility provides full system monitoring and control, with configuration via MasterAdjust, the CZone tool or the on-board DIP switches.
