Description
The Mastervolt Temperature Sensor with a 15 metre cable measures battery temperature and feeds it back to the connected charger, so the charge voltage can be adjusted automatically for the actual battery temperature. This temperature compensation protects the battery against overcharging when warm and undercharging when cold, helping to extend its working life.
With its longer 15 metre lead, this version is well suited to installations where the battery bank and the charger are some distance apart. It can be ordered separately and fits directly onto a battery terminal, connecting to the charger through its RJ11 plug.
