Description

The Mastervolt Mass 24/50-2 is a 24V, 50A battery charger built for the toughest professional, semi-professional and recreational conditions. Its lightweight stainless steel and anodised aluminium casing, together with a protective coating on the internal components, resists damp and condensation to give a long service life in demanding marine environments. The charger is insensitive to electromagnetic interference from surrounding equipment and supplies stable, ripple free power that stays reliable even with no batteries connected.

Suitable for every battery type, it charges flat batteries and applies an automatic IUoUo 3-step+ characteristic optimised for Gel, AGM, wet and Lithium Ion banks. A temperature sensor is supplied as standard and the unit delivers full power at ambient temperatures up to 40 degrees C. A second 3A output keeps a starter or auxiliary battery charged. The Mass 24/50-2 is DNV GL certified and a GMDSS version is available.

Full MasterBus compatibility lets the charger join a wider Mastervolt network over a single cable for central, local or remote monitoring and control. Multiple units can be switched in parallel, and the Current Control function prevents fuses from blowing when the input voltage falls.
