Description
The Mac Plus 48/12-50 is a non-isolated DC-DC charger that takes a 36 V or 48 V input and delivers a quick, safe and consistent charge to a 12 V service or starter battery. Its bi-directional technology lets either side act as input or output, so a single unit can keep both banks topped up. Using the proven Mastervolt 3-step+ algorithm it charges even completely flat batteries, while engine-run detection prevents the starter battery from being drained.
A fanless aluminium housing gives silent operation and superior protection against dust and water, and the unit suits flooded, Gel, AGM and Lithium Ion (incl. LiFePO4) batteries. Adjustable current limits make it ideal for Euro 5/6 smart alternators, and up to four units can run in parallel for higher capacity.
Compatibility with MasterBus, CZone and NMEA 2000 allows full system monitoring and control, with configuration via MasterAdjust, the CZone tool or the on-board DIP switches.
