Description
The Oceanic Systems 5302 Bilge Detector Switch turns a bilge pump on automatically when water is present in the bilge. Operation is managed by a microcontroller housed in a resin coated watertight casing, giving an easy to install unit that stands up to the harsh bilge environment.
An advanced digital filter distinguishes the genuine presence of water from splashing and spray, and a switch-on and switch-off delay prevents false cycling of the pump caused by the roll of the boat. With an extended power supply range and a 10 Amp switching capacity, the 5302 is a reliable, self contained bilge pump control for a wide range of vessels.

How does the 5302 switch the pump?
A microcontroller uses an advanced digital filter to detect the genuine presence of water in the bilge and then switches the pump on, up to a 10 Amp load.
Will it cycle on and off with boat movement?
No. A switch-on and switch-off delay prevents false cycling of the pump caused by the roll of the boat.
Is it suitable for the bilge environment?
Yes. It is built into a resin coated watertight casing and has an extended power supply range for reliable operation.
