Description
The Maretron MS-1035 is a rectangular surface-mount magnetic reed switch intended for indoor use with the Maretron SIM100 Switch Indicator Module. It comprises a switch body and a matching magnet; as the magnet moves away, for example when a door, hatch or port is opened, the reed contacts change state.
Wired to a channel of the SIM100, the MS-1035 lets that switch state be reported over the NMEA 2000 network, so opening or closing can be displayed and alarmed anywhere aboard as part of a security or vessel-monitoring system. The rectangular housing suits doors, lockers and cabinets in protected, indoor locations.
