Description
The Maretron MS-1055-N is a cylindrical magnetic reed switch rated for both indoor and outdoor use, intended as an accessory for the Maretron SIM100 Switch Indicator Module. Its barrel-shaped body is designed to be recessed into a drilled hole in a door or frame, with a matching magnet fitted opposite, giving a discreet and weather-tolerant installation.
Connected to a channel of the SIM100, the MS-1055-N lets the open or closed state be reported over the NMEA 2000 network, so it can be displayed and alarmed anywhere aboard as part of a security or vessel-monitoring system. The indoor and outdoor rating suits exposed hatches, lockers and companionways as well as protected interior positions.
