Description

Maretron N2KView is powerful vessel monitoring and control software that lets you watch and manage your boat's systems while under way or remotely from home or office. It displays exactly the information you need, including engines, generators, tanks, rudders, navigation instruments and local weather, on screens you build yourself from digital displays, analogue gauges, graphical displays, warning lights and bar graphs.

Beyond monitoring, N2KView adds alerts, video, control and fuel management. You can configure as many warnings and alarms as you need so the system watches for smoke, carbon monoxide, high bilge water or anything else you choose. Video capability lets you add cameras such as an engine-room view, the control function lets you switch loads like lights and pumps and confirm they are working, and the fuel-management function combines fuel-flow, tank and GPS data to show rate, economy, range and time to empty.

This licence runs N2KView on a Windows PC. To bring NMEA 2000 data to the computer you also need a Maretron USB100 or IPG100 gateway. Software upgrades are provided free as features are added.

What do I need to run N2KView on my PC?
As well as the N2KView software licence you need a Maretron gateway to bring NMEA 2000 data to the computer, either a USB100 for a direct USB connection or an IPG100 for an Ethernet connection with optional remote access.
What can N2KView do besides display data?
In addition to monitoring, N2KView provides configurable alerts and alarms, video from IP cameras, control of electrical loads such as lights and pumps, and fuel management that combines flow, tank and GPS data to show rate, economy and range.
Can N2KView run on hardware other than a PC?
Yes. As well as this PC licence, N2KView runs on Maretron standalone products such as the TSM displays and the MBB300C black box, and a mobile version is available for iPhone, iPad and Android devices.
