Description
The Simrad NC08 is a rechargeable NiMH battery pack for the Simrad HT50 and HT53 handheld VHF radios, and also fits the earlier Axis 50 handheld. Rated at 7.2 V with a 1200 mAh capacity, it is a direct replacement for the original pack, restoring a full working charge to a radio whose battery no longer holds its rated capacity.
The pack charges in the radio via the standard TC50 trickle charger (approximately 12-16 hours) or the optional RC50 rapid charger (around 1.5 hours), and clips in place of the original battery with no modification.
