Description
This multi-port T-connector consolidates four NMEA 2000 drop-cable connections into one rigid junction on the backbone. By replacing several individual tee connectors and the short cable sections between them, it produces a shorter, stiffer backbone that has fewer joints and is therefore less prone to the intermittent faults that can develop at connection points or under mechanical stress.
The rigid moulded construction stands up well to vibration and movement aboard, and consolidating the connections in one place reduces both clutter and installation time. It is a practical choice where multiple devices need to join the network in close proximity.
