NMEA 2000® Terminators, Male
Pickup available at Mercury Yacht Harbour
Usually ready in 2-4 days
Description
An NMEA 2000 network relies on a terminating resistor at each end of its backbone to keep data communication clean and reliable, and this male terminator supplies the resistance for one of those ends. It connects to a female connector at the end of the backbone, completing the electrical circuit and preventing signal reflections along the cable.
This is a male connector and pairs with a female field-side or tee connector. A properly configured network carries exactly two terminators in total, one at each end of the backbone. The terminator is sold individually, so you can buy only the connector gender your installation needs.
