Description

This Navico NMEA 0183 interface provides a bi-directional gateway between a NMEA 2000 network and NMEA 0183 devices, letting older or third-party equipment exchange data with a modern Simrad, Lowrance or B&G system. It supports NMEA 0183 version 4.1 and lets you filter the incoming and outgoing sentences and set the transmit frequency, so only the data you need is passed across at the rate you choose.

The interface is NMEA 2000 compliant and connects to the backbone with a Micro-C cable, while a 1.8 m Micro-C to bare-wire tail handles the NMEA 0183 connection. It is a simple way to bring legacy instruments, radios or sensors into a current networked helm.
