Description
The Oceanic Systems 3155 NMEA2000 to Modbus Gateway converts NMEA2000 messages from engines, tank senders, generators, AC monitors, battery banks, battery chargers and control switches into the Modbus RS485 format. It lets a Modbus system read the NMEA2000 data from all attached devices, and it can also control up to eight banks of switches or relays to operate onboard equipment. The gateway is DIN rail mounted in a convenient position and connects with a single cable to the NMEA2000 network and a single RS485 cable to the Modbus system.
It is certified to the NMEA2000 network standard and draws just 50 mA from the network. A detailed user manual identifies the available NMEA2000 data, its content, format and range, along with the Modbus address used to read or control each value.
